Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 Announces Expanded Lineup of Industry Leaders

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has revealed a new batch of speakers for its 2026 ADE Pro conference, including electronic music pioneers such as Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll, Brazilian producer Mochakk, and Ed Banger Records founder Busy P. The event, scheduled for October 21–25 in Amsterdam, will focus on themes like market consolidation, artist independence, and technology’s role in the music industry, according to ADE’s official announcement.

Key Themes and Focus Areas

The 2026 ADE Pro conference is structured around three central themes: market consolidation and the future of independence, rebuilding the music industry’s relationship with big tech, and collective action. These themes align with broader industry discussions about sustainability and innovation in electronic music, as noted by ADE’s programming team.

Key Themes and Focus Areas

Regional focus will highlight Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and sub-Saharan Africa as “key growth regions for electronic music,” according to ADE’s strategic overview. Brazilian artists Mochakk and the Solarce Brothers are among those featured, reflecting the country’s rising influence in the global scene.

Notable Speakers and Panels

Newly announced speakers include Josh Baker, a Manchester-based producer and label owner, who will discuss how artists are expanding beyond music through festivals, labels, and education platforms. Busy P (Pedro Winter) and Because Music founder Emmanuel de Buretel will address the evolution of independent music companies, while Hartnoll will participate in a panel titled “The Ethics of the Sample: Collaboration, Consent and Credit Across Cultures.”

The event will also feature SPFDJ, Pegassi, Mathame, Gideon Berger, Sarah Williams, and Coldcut co-founder Matt Black. ADE Pro 2026 follows the 2025 edition, which included appearances from British rapper Skepta and DJs like Armin van Buuren, as reported by Billboard U.K.

Global Reach and Industry Impact

With over 600,000 attendees and 10,000 industry professionals expected, ADE is recognized as one of the largest electronic music gatherings worldwide. The 2025 event was described by Billboard U.K. as “a diverse and fun-loving hub of creativity in Europe,” underscoring its cultural and economic significance.
