The AFC South saw multiple playoff teams in 2019 (houston, Tennessee) and 2020 (Indianapolis, Tennessee), but only one team from this division has made the playoffs in each of the last four years.
Based on the total adversity of victory for the 2025 NFL season, the AFC South appears to be light on postseason competitors after Houston.

Houston Texans Over 9.5 Wins is the Best Bet

Houston OC Bobby Slowik has been replaced by Nick kelly this offseason. He’s made important changes to his OL, bringing in veteran left tackle Laremy Tunsil and guard Kenyon Green, and also signed Cam Robinson to fill in at LT for Tunsil and veteran guard Laken Tomlinson in free agency.
On paper, Houston’s O-Line shouldn’t see much advancement over the group we saw last year, but the Texans are stronger than the end of the 2021 season.
The value is with the Texans over 9.5 wins. Remember, they finished 10-7 in the first year of the Ryans/stroud era in 2023 and posted the same record in the regular season in 2024.
