Reacher Season 3 Release Date Announced: Get Ready for More Action in February

Fans of the hit Prime Video series Reacher rejoice! Actor Alan Ritchson, who stars as the titular character, revealed the highly anticipated third season will premiere on February 20, 2024.

The announcement came during CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, where Ritchson was joined on stage by fellow cast member Maria Sten and author Lee Child, creator of the Reacher novels and executive producer of the show.

Season three will consist of eight episodes, with the first three dropping on February 20, followed by weekly releases every Thursday until March 27. You can catch the action in over 240 countries!

A Graduation from Hit Status

This news comes on the heels of a monumental success for season two of Reacher, which became Prime Video’s most viewed release of 2023. In response, Amazon swiftly renewed the action-packed series for a fourth season that will commence filming in 2025.

A First Look at Reacher’s New Threat

The new teaser, embedded above, showcases Ritchson in classic Reacher form. This time, it seems Reacher is facing off against a formidable opponent in the form of Paulie, aka Paul Masserella, a imposing gate guard at a luxurious waterfront estate.

Based on Child’s novel Persuader, the season finds Reacher thrust into a dangerous criminal enterprise while attempting to rescue a DEA informant. This mission unearths a world of secrecy, violence, and confronts Reacher with some unresolved issues from his past.

The Expanding Reacher Universe

Adding to the excitement, season three introduces a new cast of characters, including Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.

Reacher is a collaborative production between Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. It is written by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora who serves as showrunner and executive producer. Other executive producers include Lee Child, Alan Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Carolyn Harris, and Kenny Madrid.
