Ammar Zoni‘s Condition in Prison Raises Concerns

Ammar Zoni’s family is deeply worried about his condition while incarcerated in Nusakambangan. His adoptive mother, Titik Haryanti, and her partner, Doctor Kamelia, have spoken about his current state as he serves time for a drug-related offense.

Titik revealed that Ammar has been experiencing physical discomfort. He’s only permitted one hour of outdoor time daily for fresh air and must wear an eye mask inside his cell.

“his legs started to go numb because he only gets one hour outside,” Titik Haryanti explained during an interview at Trans7 Studio in South Jakarta on Friday, November 7th.

Doctor Kamelia shared that seeing Ammar Zoni’s condition via video call was incredibly distressing. He believes Ammar’s situation is even more concerning then publicly known.

“Ask Uncle Jon for a recording; it’s truly more heartbreaking than what you’ve already seen,” Kamelia stated.
