An 80-year-old woman died this morning in a fire that broke out in a home in Burgos capital, where another person also resided, who has been injured but without fear for his life, the mayor of Burgos has confirmed, Cristina Ayala.
The fire started in a house at number 4 of the Calleja and Zurita streetsin the southern part of the city, at around 8:36, sources from the Emergency Service of Castilla y León 112 reported, which had initially indicated that the victim was seriously injured.
The mayor confirmed, in a press conference called to report on the City of Burgos Awards, the death of the woman as well as the existence of another injured person, who was also in the house at the time of the event, but “that he is well.”
