Android 17 Rollout: Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO Devices Eligible for the Update
Google’s release of the first Android 17 beta has sparked anticipation among smartphone users, and Xiaomi is preparing to roll out its own testing programs. A comprehensive list of devices slated to receive the update, based on information from Xiaomi AER and official websites, includes over 70 phones and tablets across the Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO brands.
Xiaomi Devices
The entire Xiaomi 17 series – including the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max – will be among the first to receive the Android 17 update. Last year’s Xiaomi 15 series, along with the MIX Flip, MIX Fold, and various Pad series tablets, are also confirmed to be eligible. Redmi Devices
The Redmi brand will spot Android 17 arrive on the Note 15 series and most devices from the Note 14 series. However, the Redmi Note 14 5G will not receive the update, as it is slated to receive only two years of system updates, according to Xiaomi’s product page. Android 17 Release Timeline
Xiaomi traditionally launches its beta program during the Google I/O conference. The first beta version could arrive on Xiaomi 17 flagship models around May and June. More affordable phones will likely receive the stable update in the last quarter of the year, potentially extending into the first quarter of the following year, alongside the release of HyperOS 4.
