How stupid can you be?
The son has bought a new MTB the day before yesterday. Enduro trail machine, pure sports equipment. So used new. 8 years old and only moved on trails in bike parks. Lots of dirt, sand, mud and water seen. But very well maintained and everything works tip top. Unfortunately there are click pedals. Of course they had to leave things. So with the 8 Series into the work and down with it. Of course, Google asked again beforehand so that you don’t turn around upside down. Pressed like a man but no chance. Firmly! Hot made, cold made! Again with a lot of strength … but nothing. Firm as glued. Hmmm, run with the impact wrench? Reluctant. Alu and such. Doesn’t matter. Nothing helps. The cavents man with 1000 Nm and full throttle. Grmpf! None. The sow just doesn’t break away. All compressor load chased through air. AGE!!! What’s going on there? Again from the front. Give everything again. Zack! Screw round. I turn through. Can’t be that it is soooo. Because of the round screw, however, it is completely over. Nothing helps. The Bengel wants to order new crank set on the bike. The paint was off anyway. You have to talk to yourself nicely. Hunni went on it. Not nice but not the end of the world either. The package came this afternoon. So brought the old crank out of the warehouse and the new one in. Everything goes like butter. No dirt, no bum, no sand. Then it fell from my eyes like scales: when the pedal is screwed from behind with the Allen from the pedal arm … WTF.
