Apple Martin Addresses Bullying Rumors, Sets the Record Straight
Apple Martin, the 21-year-old daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has publicly denied allegations that she was expelled from school for bullying. Martin addressed the rumors directly on her Instagram story, stating they had “gotten so out of hand.”
The rumors began circulating online following Martin’s debutante appearance at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in November 2024. A video from the event, showing Martin briefly appearing in the frame of a photograph featuring another debutante, sparked online speculation and ultimately led to the false claims.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Martin clarified, “I didn’t wanna respond, but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand. I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone. I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions.” She added, “But this rumour is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that.”
