Arizona Softball Set for Doubleheader Against Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 12 Arizona Wildcats softball team is scheduled to play a doubleheader against the No. 2 Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. And 12 p.m. MST. The schedule change is due to an expected wind storm on Sunday, March 15.

Wildcats Dominate First Game

Arizona opened the series with a 9-0 run-rule victory over Texas Tech on Friday night, marking their ninth consecutive run-rule win and setting a new program record. The Wildcats scored nine runs on six hits and two walks.

  • Grace Jenkins: Went 2-for-3 with seven RBI, including a three-run home run and a grand slam.
  • Tayler Biehl: Went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
