Man Admits to Murder in Arna, Bergen

The man charged with the murder in Arna, Bergen, on February 8th, has admitted to the crime, according to police prosecutor Inger-Lise Høyland [TV 2]. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Tariq Wasiri, 28.

Details of the Crime

Mohammad Tariq Wasiri, an Afghan citizen residing in Bergen municipality, was killed outside his apartment in Arna on February 8th [VG]. Wasiri’s wife sustained minor injuries during the incident and was transported to a hospital.

Investigation and Arrest
