Auburn Gymnastics Team Celebrates 13 WCGA Scholastic All-america Honors

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn university gymnastics team has demonstrated extraordinary academic achievement, with thirteen student-athletes recognized by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) as Scholastic All-Americans for the 2024-25 academic year. This extraordinary showing marks the second-highest number of honors received under the leadership of head coach Jeff Graba, following the team’s record of fifteen honors last season.

The thirteen Tigers earning this prestigious academic recognition are Olivia Ahern, Bryn Bartman, Sophia Bell, Olivia Greaves, Sophia Greaves, Sophia Groth, Hannah Hagle, Anna Hill, Olivia Hollingsworth, Julianne Huff, Katelyn Jong, Caroline Leonard, and Jersie Woolsey.

Notably, four gymnasts – Olivia Ahern, Sophia Groth, Olivia Hollingsworth, and Caroline Leonard – achieved a perfect 4.0 grade-point average for the academic year.this honor represents a continued tradition of academic excellence for several team members, with Groth and Leonard receiving their fourth WCGA Scholastic All-America awards and Hagle and Hollingsworth earning their third.

The WCGA Scholastic All-America award recognizes gymnasts who maintain a minimum 3.5 grade-point average during the academic year.
