According to Bennett, Curtis approached them at the Sydney premiere of the film and revealed she was driving and listening to the movie soundtrack when their song came on. She said she instantly pulled over, thinking, “What is this song?”

Reid added that Jamie shared a memory of rehearsing in front of her husband, actor Christopher Guest (known for his role in Spinal Tap). “It was such a memory for her to actually rehearse in front of her husband and go, ‘Do you reckon this is good?'” Reid said, adding that Guest apparently reacted with a poker face.

Lash sadly broke up the same year their song was included in the film, with Reid going on to pursue a solo career.
