16 and Pregnant Star Autumn Oxley Crittendon’s Cause of Death Revealed

The cause of death for Autumn Oxley Crittendon, star of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant,” has been determined. The Virginia Department of Health released a statement, confirming Crittendon’s death on July 20th at her Henrico County, VA home, was due to drug toxicity from fentanyl and para-fluorofentanyl, an illicit synthetic opioid. TMZ first reported the news.

The health department classified Crittendon’s death as accidental. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) notes that many illegal synthetic opioids are more potent than morphine and heroin, posing a significant risk of overdose.

Autumn Oxley Crittendon’s Appearance on 16 and Pregnant

Crittendon appeared on Season 5 of “16 and Pregnant” in 2014 alongside her then-boyfriend, Dustin Franklin. Their son, Drake, is now 10 years old.

Autumn Oxley, 27, of Henrico, was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
