Legss Band Suffers Instrument Theft in Dublin Following Grand Social Performance
London-based alt-rock band Legss had several musical instruments stolen from their van in Dublin following a performance at The Grand Social on February 21, 2026. Gardaí (Irish police) are investigating the incident, which occurred in the Gardiner Street Lower area between approximately 2:30 am and 9:00 am on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Details of the Theft
The band shared a statement on Instagram expressing their shock and disappointment, noting the sentimental value of the stolen equipment, some of which had been with them since the band formed in 2018. They appealed to the public to be on the lookout for the instruments being sold online or in shops. Legss posted about the theft on Facebook.

- Fender Telecaster Butterscotch (Mexican)
- Fender Vintera 60s Stratocaster Modified in Burgundy Mist Metallic
- Pink Fender Squier Stratocaster
- Fender Classic ’60s Mustang Bass in ash wood
- Pedalboard containing a digital delay, overdrive, TU-3 tuner and MXR Blue Box
- Protection Racket 22-inch cymbal case
- Multiple cymbals, including:
- 21-inch Bosphorus Traditional Thin Ride
- 18-inch Paiste 2002 Black Label Thin Crash
- 14-inch Zildjian Avedis hi-hats
- 8-inch Paiste splash
Band’s Response and Garda Investigation
Legss reported the incident to An Garda Síochána and expressed gratitude for the kindness and support received during the process. Vocalist and guitarist Ned Green stated the band is “unbelievably grateful for all the support and completely overwhelmed by the response so far.” They are following standard procedures to attempt to recover the equipment and have encouraged other touring musicians to take extra precautions.
