Hollywood has a new drama, and it’s not coming from the silver screen. Baldoni Claims Lively Tried to “Ban” Him from Premiere

According to a counter-lawsuit filed by Baldoni, Lively attempted to exclude him and his Wayfarer Studios team from the film’s premiere. This $250 million lawsuit, directed at The New York Times, alleges that Lively deliberately undermined Baldoni’s role as director, executive producer, and star of the project.

The lawsuit paints a picture of humiliation, claiming that though Lively eventually relented under pressure, Baldoni and his team were forced to attend the premiere under degrading conditions. They were segregated from the main cast, excluded from the after-party, and had to organize their own event at additional cost.

“Further undermining Baldoni’s role, Lively initially refused to permit his attendance at the Film’s premiere,” the lawsuit states, according to US Weekly. “Only after significant pressure did she reluctantly agree to allow Baldoni and the Wayfarer team to attend, but under humiliating conditions. The Wayfarer team and their families, including Baldoni and [producer Jamey] Heath, were segregated from the main cast, barred from the exclusive after-party, and forced to organize their own event at additional cost.”

Baldoni: Lively Engaged in “Bullying” Tactics

Baldoni accuses Lively of intentionally ostracizing him and his family during the premiere, claiming that his red carpet time was cut short and he and his loved ones were confined to a basement holding area before being separated from the main event. The lawsuit goes on to state:

“Not only had Lively stolen the Film, but she also robbed Baldoni and his team of any genuine opportunity to celebrate their hard work.”

Accusations Extend to Ryan Reynolds

Adding fuel to the fire, Baldoni names Ryan Reynolds, Lively’s husband, in the lawsuit. Baldoni alleges that Reynolds, along with Lively, orchestrated a campaign to sabotage his career.

Specific accusations leveled against Reynolds include:

* Aggressive behavior towards Baldoni.
* Engaging in “fat-shaming” of Lively.
* Influencing Baldoni’s former agency, WME (which represents both Reynolds and Lively), to drop him as a client.

Baldoni’s former agency, WME, has denied these claims, stating: “In Baldoni’s filing there is a claim that Reynolds pressured Baldoni’s agent at the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiere. This is not true,”
