AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor will not face Hyperactive at Pro-Wrestling: EVE on November 8, with the Wolverhampton match rescheduled to a future date after the duo competed in AEW’s women’s Blood & Guts match.
The Brawling Birds were advertised to defend against Anita Vaughn and Safire Reed at the November 8 event, but the bout has been pushed back. The champions also have an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title defense against Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander at Full Gear on November 14.
Pro-Wrestling: EVE promoter Dann Read announced the change during an appearance on In The Weeds, fightful.com reported, with the transcription credited to Fightful. Read said the decision followed conversations with the talent about their comfort level after Blood & Guts and with the Full Gear defense a week away.
“The decision was to play safe and to reschedule the Hyperactive versus Brawling Birds match for as soon as we can do it in the future basically,” Read said. “It’s not a thing that’s being forced on us or anything along those lines. It’s literally just a case of talking with a talent, what they’re comfortable with, after what has happened, and what they’ve got coming up.”
Blood & Guts Recovery Drives the Decision
wearewrestling.net reported that Blood & Guts combines elements of a steel cage and an Unsanctioned-style brawl across two rings, and competitors often require additional recovery time after taking part. The Brawling Birds’ withdrawal from the EVE card follows that pattern.
arab-wrestling.com confirmed that promotion management and the wrestlers agreed to adjust the schedule after the intense Blood & Guts match, with all parties deciding to play it safe given the upcoming title defense.

Full Gear Title Defense Against Cameron and Statlander
The Brawling Birds remain scheduled to defend their AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear on November 14.
