BTS’s fifth full-length album, Arirang and its title track, “Swim,” are achieving significant success on global music charts. As of March 23, 2026, “Swim” has topped Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart for three consecutive days (March 20-22). The album’s track, “Body to Body,” maintained the second position for the same duration.

Chart-Topping Success Across Multiple Tracks

The album’s dominance extends beyond the top two positions. Eight BTS songs secured spots within the top 10 on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart, including “Hooligan” (4th), “FYA” (5th), “Normal” (6th), “Like Animals” (7th), “Aliens” (8th), and “2.0” (9th). Further demonstrating the album’s widespread appeal, “This Don’t Realize About Us” (11th), “Merry Go Round” (12th), “One More Night” (16th), “Please” (19th), “Into the Sun” (21st), and “No” (22nd) also charted within the top 22.

Japanese Market Impact

Arirang has also made a strong impact in Japan, debuting at number one on Oricon’s ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ (counting period: March 16-22, 2026). This marks BTS’s 11th number-one album on the chart. The album sold 547,000 copies during the counting period, achieving the highest first-week sales volume for an overseas artist in 2026.

Domestic Chart Performance

In South Korea, “Swim” has swept the top of the daily charts on major music sites, including Melon, Bugs, and Genie. “Body to Body” ranked first on Vibe’s ‘Top 100’ chart (as of March 23), indicating strong listener engagement with the album’s diverse tracks.

‘Swim’ Performance Video and Upcoming Appearances

BTS released the “Swim” performance video on Spotify and Apple Music on March 24. The video showcases the group’s choreography, facial expressions, and movements, offering fans a comprehensive view of the song’s stage performance. The release marks the first full-length performance video in some time, highlighting the group’s collaboration and unity.

The choreography for “Swim” complements the song’s mood with movements that utilize space and feature intricate lines. Repetitive movements during the refrain enhance concentration, while the members’ synchronized beats create an immersive experience. The performance demonstrates BTS’s refined expressive power.

BTS members are also appearing on various programs. Jin appeared on the YouTube content ‘Life 84’ on March 22. Jimin is scheduled to appear on ‘Hot It Shuji’ on March 24, and RM and Suga will be featured on ‘Epic Case’ on March 26. The group will appear together on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on March 26 and 27 at 12:35 pm.
