## Reflecting on Two Decades of Motorsport Excellence
After twenty remarkable years, a chapter closes with profound gratitude and respect for the dedicated individuals who fueled our success. The team, comprised of extraordinary people, represented the very core of our achievements. Through both triumphs and challenges, a spirit of unwavering support bound us together – a bond I will always cherish. It has been an honour to lead such a formidable group, and I take immense pride in everything we accomplished collectively. Our journey from modest beginnings to a dominant force in Formula 1 – securing six Constructors’ Championships and eight Drivers’ Championships – wouldn’t have been possible without the astonishing backing of our partners and passionate fanbase. Their unwavering enthusiasm provided the momentum we needed to continually strive for greatness. As of 2024, Formula 1 boasts a global viewership of over 430 million[[3]], demonstrating the sport’s expansive reach and the power of collective support.Equally notable was the competitive fire ignited by our rivals. Their relentless pursuit of excellence pushed us to innovate, refine our strategies, and ultimately, surpass our perceived limitations. This dynamic rivalry transformed every victory into a sweeter reward and every setback into a valuable learning experiance. Consider the intense rivalry between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in the late 1980s and early 1990s – a period widely regarded as a golden age for Formula 1, fueled by their mutual drive to outperform one another.
Formula 1, at its heart, is a testament to relentless ambition, unwavering passion, and deep-seated respect. While the rivalries are undeniably intense, it is the shared commitment to pushing boundaries and elevating the sport that truly defines its legacy. It was a privilege to contribute to this unusual era of motorsport.
I depart with immense satisfaction for all that we have achieved, and with optimism for the future, especially with the exciting developments planned for the 2026 season. My deepest respect goes to everyone who has contributed to making Formula 1 the pinnacle of motorsport it is today.
