Stade Toulousain Upgrades Fan Experience with Cutting-Edge Daktronics LED Displays
French rugby club Stade Toulousain has boosted the fan experience at its iconic Stade Ernest-Wallon stadium with the installation of brand-new, high-resolution LED displays. Partnering with AV systems provider Pekason, Daktronics delivered the latest technology, replacing screens initially installed in 2008.
These impressive displays, strategically positioned at each end of the stadium, soar 4.5 meters in height and span 8.3 meters in width. The upgrade significantly improves resolution, shrinking pixel spacing from 23mm to a crisp 10mm. This means fans can enjoy noticeably clearer images and dynamic visuals.
Enhanced Fan Engagement with Customizable Content
The high-resolution displays boast variable content zoning capabilities. This allows operators to showcase a single expansive image or divide the screen into multiple zones, tailoring the content to engage fans. Live video, instant replays, statistics, captivating graphics, animations, and sponsorship messages can all feature prominently, creating a more immersive and interactive matchday atmosphere.
