Federal prosecutors are seeking at least 11 years in prison for Sean “Diddy” Combs following his conviction on two prostitution-related charges. In a court filing Tuesday, prosecutors argued Combs’ “crimes of conviction are serious” and that he “engaged in violence and put others in fear,” recommending a sentence of no less than 135 months.

They further stated Combs is “unrepentant,” attempting to frame decades of alleged abuse as mutually toxic relationships, when in reality, “there is nothing mutual about a relationship where one holds all the power and the other ends up bloodied and bruised.”

Prosecutors also criticized Combs’ attempt to receive a sentence of time served, arguing it would create sentencing disparities compared to other defendants. Combs was convicted in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, related to incidents from the late 1990s and early 2000s.Buisness Insider tells the innovative stories you want to know
