Saturday was an intriguing one across the FCS, as one time or another, the top five teams in the most recent poll were all trailing. Each of the teams ended up winning their games, but it wasn’t without some drama.

North Dakota State was tested for the first time this season, South Dakota State was down double-digits at halftime, Montana was trailing to Idaho State and Tarleton State struggled wiht Southern Utah, before scoring late to get the win.

A couple of top-ten teams did lose, Rhode Island was dominated by Brown, which will not only cost them spots in the poll, but it could come the FCS Playoffs. Brown was picked to finish eighth in the nine-team Ivy League in the preseason poll.

Here’s my latest ballot for the FCS Stats Perform Top 25.
