Las rains y storms continue hoy Wednesday and give no respite to the east of the peninsula. Seven provinces are on alert this Wednesday for this reason, as reported by the Meteorology Statal Agency (AEMET).
They will have yellow warning for rain and storms Granada, Jaén, Teruel, Mallorca, Albacete, Barcelona and Gerona, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency. In addition, showers and strong storms are also expected in Catalonia.
In general the skies will be cloudy or overcast in the Cantabrian area, with the probability of weak rains, somewhat more intense in the eastern Cantabrian and there will be cloudy intervals and diurnal clouds in the rest of the northern and eastern halves of the Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands. , with the possibility of some showers and storms, more likely in the northeast of Catalonia, in the Levante area and in Mallorca, where they can be locally strong.
In the rest of the peninsula, the slightly cloudy skies with some intervals and in the Canary Islands they expect cloudy intervals with the possibility of some weak showers on the mountainous islands.
Las minimum temperatures will drop in the northeast quadrant of the peninsula while the maximums will decrease in the Mediterranean area, will rise on the Atlantic slope and will experience few changes in the rest.
