It’s about a denial of service attackconsisting of a massive flood of requests to the web that causes it to work with difficulty and ends up collapsing, a circumstance that has not happened thanks to the work of the technicians.
According to cybersecurity sources, the active monitoring of the pro-Russian hacktivist group NoName057 revealed that the group had included different websites of public institutions, the media and companies from strategic sectors in Spain in the configuration file of its distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack tool.
The attack has affected institutions such as the Casa Real, the Constitutional Court or the Ministry of Justice and other media such as Expansionbelonging to this group, or the newspapers ABC, The Reason y The Spanish.
