Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy to Step Down in March

In a move that’s sure to shake the Irish business landscape, Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy has announced his departure in March to pursue a new leadership challenge in the private sector. After four successful years at the helm of the state agency, Clancy will leave behind a legacy of record-breaking achievements for Enterprise Ireland.

The agency is already moving to fill the vacancy, launching an immediate recruitment process to find a new CEO. In the interim, Kevin Sherry, Executive Director and a respected member of the Enterprise Ireland Senior Leadership Team, will assume the role of acting CEO from March.
