Is it time to start worrying about Fable? Some fans seem to think so after Microsoft confirmed that the game – was originally announced with a planned release date for this year – will completely absent From Gamescom. Last year, Microsoft confirmed that the title had been postponed indefinitely, and since then there was a silence of the radio from the developer. Concerns only grew after a massive layoff this year, which made 14,000 employees forced to leave their position.
Xbox is very devastated, and many are now worried this can affect the development of faable as well. With Gamescom crossed out as a potential showcase opportunity, attention switched to the big game events left this year. Tokyo Game Show will soon be present, but Microsoft is expected to have a minimum presence there. Maybe the game Awards this winter? For now, all we can do is wait – but the silence of Microsoft gives more and more fans of feelings that Fable is still far from complete.
