FACA 2026: Seville’s Alternative Comedy Festival Returns

Seville is set to host the fourth edition of the Festival Andaluz de Comedia Alternativa (FACA) on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Cartuja Center CITE. This event aims to showcase both emerging and established comedic talent from Andalusia and across Spain.

A Growing Festival

Born in June 2023, FACA has quickly grow a significant event in the southern Spanish comedy scene. This year marks a significant expansion, with 12 hours of non-stop programming across four simultaneous performance spaces . The festival will feature a diverse range of comedic formats, including monologues, improvisation, illustration workshops, podcasts, and trivia.

Lineup and Activities

FACA 2026 will feature performances by well-known artists such as Julio Muñoz ‘El Rancio’, Juan Amodeo, David Sainz and Antonio Velázquez (creators of Malviviendo), Adelapordios, Manu Partida, Lost in Seville, Carmen Orellana, Beni Pla, the play ‘Con Capas ya lo Bollo’, and Sevilla Impro Club . In addition to the main performances, attendees can enjoy free activities like an Andalusian Creation and Crafts Market (MACA) with a dozen exhibitors, and live music during lunchtime.
