The leader of the popular and winner of the general elections of 23-J, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has reacted this morning to the decision of the PSOE to veto the pact with the PP in Ceuta and assures that, with this, Sánchez “blocks an agreement for the stability” of the autonomous city.
In a message posted on his Twitter account, Feijóo has assured that “the PP is a state party”. “Our duty is to strengthen social cohesion and protect citizens, against this interest in staying in power,” he added.
For his part, the President of Ceuta, Juan Jesus Vivas, He has also regretted that the national leadership of the PSOE has “vetoed” any agreement with the PP in the city “without any argument”, according to Europa Press. Vivas defends that this understanding seeks the “stability” of the autonomous city for the next four years because “Ceuta is not just any place, it is a matter of State”.
“If someone was loyal to the Government during the assault from Morocco in May 2021, it was me. This is the payment that Ceuta receives,” the president of Ceuta said on his Twitter account.
In addition, in statements to Onda Cero this morning, he added that the PSOE “said it wanted to reach an agreement through a coalition government.” Although the pact had not been closed, they were “in talks”, according to the popular. “But surprisingly and unjustifiably, yesterday we received the news that the national leadership of the PSOE was vetoing any agreement with the PP and without any type of argument, which is more painful for me,” he added.
