Paul Gallagher Pleads Not Guilty, Trial Set for 2027
Paul Gallagher, of East Finchley, north London, has pleaded not guilty to charges and is scheduled to face trial in September 2027. The case is being heard at Southwark Crown Court.

Gallagher appeared at Southwark Crown Court (sitting at Harrow Crown Court) on Friday, wearing a suit and glasses, to enter his pleas.The Independent reports on the proceedings.
He was released on conditional bail and will return for trial on September 13, 2027. Judge Anupama Thompson acknowledged the lengthy delay, explaining it was due to a backlog of cases requiring scheduling.

Judge Thompson stated, “I’m very sorry that it’s such a long time away but we have a number of cases that need to be listed.” The significant delay highlights the current pressures on the UK court system.
