This upgrade enables streaming at up to 5K resolution and 120 frames per second (fps),and up to 360 fps at 1080p with NVIDIA Reflex technology,minimizing latency for competitive gameplay. A new Cinematic-Quality Streaming mode further enhances visual fidelity with improved clarity and sharpness for immersive single-player experiences.

Expanding Platform Support

GeForce NOW is breaking down barriers to access by expanding to new platforms. Key announcements include:

  • Native Linux App: A native GeForce NOW app for Linux PCs, supporting Ubuntu 24.04 and later distributions, is in beta.This allows Linux users to stream high-end PC games without requiring a powerful local GPU.
  • Amazon Fire TV Integration: A dedicated GeForce NOW app is coming to select Amazon Fire TV devices, including the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd gen), bringing cloud gaming to the living room.

Responding to community demand, GeForce NOW now supports flight controls. gamers can connect popular flight sticks and throttle systems from brands like Thrustmaster and Logitech to enhance their experience in titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Elite Hazardous, and War Thunder. combined with RTX 5080 performance and NVIDIA Reflex, this provides a more realistic and immersive flight simulation experience.

New Games Coming to GeForce NOW

The GeForce NOW library continues to grow with the addition of several highly anticipated AAA titles. Gamers can look forward to streaming:
