Turkish Military Cargo Plane Crashes in Georgia, No Survivors

A Turkish military cargo plane crashed in Georgia Tuesday afternoon with 20 people on board, near the border with Azerbaijan. Authorities have confirmed there were no survivors and are investigating the cause of the accident.

The crash occurred shortly after the C-130 aircraft took off from Azerbaijan en route back to Turkey, according to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, which also released the identities of those who perished.

The C-130 aircraft fell in a spiral, leaving a trail of white smoke.

Following the accident, which was captured on video, Georgian authorities, in coordination with Turkish authorities, mobilized search and rescue operations in the impact area, located in the municipality of Sighnaghi, Georgia.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Georgian aviation authority reported receiving a warning shortly after takeoff indicating potential issues with the aircraft.
