The office feels a bit quieter with more team members working remotely, and we genuinely miss connecting with our community in person. We warmly invite you to visit us, even if you can spare just an hour of your time.
What We Need Your Help With
We’re organizing a volunteer session to assist with essential tasks: preparing GNU Press shop orders for shipment and mailing communications to our valued associate members. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver resources and maintain connections within the free software movement.
Location & Accessibility
The volunteer event will be held in the lobby of our Boston office, located at 101 Arch St, Boston, MA, 02110. For those utilizing public transportation, the Downtown Crossing MBTA station is conveniently nearby.
Dates & Times
We have two scheduled volunteer sessions:
Friday, August 1st: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Monday, August 11th: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a fantastic way to actively contribute to the mission and amplify the impact of our work. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to network with fellow free software advocates, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships.
