Goldsboro Apartment Fire Leaves 50 homeless

goldsboro,NC – A large fire erupted Sunday afternoon,August 31,at an apartment building in the Rosewood community of goldsboro,Wayne County,leaving 50 people homeless.

The fire began around 2:00 p.m.at the Adair Place apartments, located on Keller Way Drive, near the intersection of U.S. 70 and NC-581.

The flames destroyed multiple units and prompted the evacuation of dozens of families.

Emergency responders from the Goldsboro Fire Department,Rosewood Volunteer Fire Department,Little River VFD,Oakland VFD,Wayne County EMS,the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office,and goldsboro Police Department collaborated to control the blaze.
