Life Golf & Fitness to Host 22nd annual Fight Against cancer Golf Tournament

Life Golf & Fitness center will be hosting its 22nd annual golf tournament to benefit individuals battling cancer. This yearS event will be dedicated to Nancy Boyer & Cindi Casanova,both residents of Solomon,Kansas,who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. The tournament will take place on Sunday, September 14th at Great Life Golf & Fitness (1800 S Marymount Rd.), with a start time of 12:00 pm.
A Tradition of Support
The tournament was started 21 years ago by Rob VanDeCreek, inspired by his aunt’s cancer diagnosis. “It has just evolved into an annual event that we do,” VanDeCreek shared. Over the past two decades, the event has raised over $69,000 for individuals and organizations dedicated to fighting cancer. Last year saw a record turnout with 27 teams, and organizers are hoping to match that success this year.
