Meaningful Growth in Lending and Impact
The scale of the bank’s operations has expanded considerably as 2008, when outstanding loans totaled 35 billion. As of May 31, 2025, the total value of loans reached 788.6 billion, demonstrating a significant increase in access to capital. Notably, the bank has maintained a strong financial performance, achieving an interest income exceeding 100%. This success allows for continued reinvestment in community programs.
The impact of these loans is far-reaching. Over 12,630 households, including those facing economic hardship or recently escaping poverty, have utilized social policy loans to establish financial independence. Moreover, more then 24,350 individuals have secured loans to support entrepreneurial ventures and job creation – a figure comparable to the national average of small business loan recipients [[1]]. Recognizing the importance of education, over 6,500 families have benefited from student loan programs, enabling access to higher learning. this mirrors a global trend where access to education is increasingly linked to economic advancement.

To ensure uninterrupted service, the network of municipal transaction centers will remain operational following administrative restructuring, effective after July 1st.
