The event has attracted a significant number of participants, with over 330 athletes competing from various martial arts clubs across Hue City, Da Nang, and Quang Tri province [1], [2].
Celebrating Anniversaries and Promoting Youth Development
The tournament is being held to commemorate several critical anniversaries, including the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026) and the 51st anniversary of the liberation of Hue (March 26, 1975 – March 26, 2026) [2]. This year’s championship features a record number of athletes, with 355 martial arts practitioners participating [2]. The event includes 25 traditional martial arts clubs, with 19 representing Hue City, and additional teams from Da Nang City and Quang Tri Province.
Athletes are competing across four age groups: 6-10, 11-14, 15-17, and 17-30 years old [2]. The competition is divided into two main categories: sparring, and forms.
