ICC Court ADGM Office Update: Operations and Contact Information
The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Court) has provided updates regarding the operations of its case management office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). These adjustments are in response to regional developments, with the safety of ICC staff and business continuity as top priorities.
Current Status of the ADGM Office
As of March 2, 2026, the physical office of the ICC Court Secretariat at ADGM is closed. All staff members are currently working remotely to ensure uninterrupted service.
Communication Protocols
Parties, counsel, arbitrators, and all participants in ICC arbitrations administered by the ADGM office should utilize the following communication channels:
- General Inquiries: Email at ica12@iccwbo.org or by phone at +971 50 500 3705, +971 56 333 2781, or +971 50 156 4627.
- Case-Specific Communications: Continue to employ ICC Case Connect for all communications related to pending cases.
- Physical Correspondence: For any correspondence intended for hand delivery, courier, or post, contact the office via email or phone before dispatch.
Filing New Requests for Arbitration
The following procedures are in place for new requests:
- Requests for Arbitration: Submit all requests, including supporting exhibits, via ICC Case Connect.
- Emergency Arbitrator Applications: File applications for emergency arbitrator, along with relevant exhibits, by email to this address.
Scheduling and Hearings
Scheduled meetings will now be conducted virtually. For hearings planned at the ADGM Hearing Centre, please contact the ADGM Hearing Centre directly for arrangements.

ICC and ADGM Collaboration
In December 2020, the ICC and ADGM announced the opening of a case management office for the ICC Court Secretariat in Abu Dhabi, recognizing the UAE’s growing importance in international arbitration. The UAE ranked 8th and 9th in 2018 and 2019, respectively, for the most frequent nationalities among parties involved in ICC-administered arbitrations. The office integrates the activities of the ICC Middle East and North Africa (MENA) representative office, established in ADGM in 2017.
