A bystander video captured the dramatic detention of a woman by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents inside a North center daycare Wednesday morning. While the daycare and parents have identified the woman as a pre-K teacher at Rayito del Sol Spanish Immersion school and daycare’s Roscoe Village location, Department of Homeland security (DHS) officials initially stated it was unclear if she was an employee, and insisted ICE “did not target a daycare.”

The video depicts two masked federal agents, wearing plainclothes and “POLICE” vests, forcibly removing the woman from the daycare. The footage shows agents physically wrestling her towards the door, at one point lifting her and slamming her face-first into the outer door as they push her outside.
