Volkswagen Previews ID. Cross Electric SUV, Confirms ID. Polo Launch

Volkswagen will showcase its latest compact electric SUV – the ID. Cross Concept – at IAA Mobility in Munich, taking place from September 8th to 14th. This new model will expand VolkswagenS growing electric vehicle lineup, joining the ID. 2all and ID. EVERY1.

Market availability for the ID. Cross is slated for 2026. The ID.polo, based on the ID. 2all, will have its world premiere in the first half of 2026, followed by the ID. Polo GTI. The production version of the ID. Cross will be unveiled in the summer of 2026.

The ID. Cross Concept introduces Volkswagen’s new design language, “Pure Positive,” which emphasizes stability, friendliness, and expressive individuality.
