Comedians Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh bring their award-winning witty jokes, improvisations and interactive moments to the one-of-a-kind venue, Shops at Crystals, adjacent to the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Presented by Lighthouse Artspace. Guests will sip, swirl and stroll through the exotic locations displayed on the walls of the hall. after a few sips and laughs,the party began in earnest as audience members were asked some interesting questions and learned how to dance to the Wiggles’ song “Hot potato.”
The comedians took time to chat exclusively with The Blast about their Vegas show in between enjoying Starbucks and Taco bell (despite a hilarious warning that mixing the two shows might not be as fun for them later). in case you were wondering, they took a risk and chatted without using the bathroom.
Two of Australia’s fastest rising comedians, sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh, take their hilarious shows on the road and recently landed in Sin City.
The pair have performed in numerous international locations including Germany,South Africa,New Zealand,the UK,Ireland and throughout Australia. and did I mention they aren’t even 30 yet? They told The Blast how the show came about and how it arrived in Las Vegas.
“So basically for this show we wanted free wine and basically worked backwards,” Preston said. “We first did this show about three years ago. Ethan and I have been doing comedy for about 10 years. We were very good friends with the guys who ran a wine bar in Melbourne, where we’re both from.”
They explained that their friendship turned into a great business partnership as they started doing wine and comedy shows there. They didn’t want to do it at first, but couldn’t shake the thought of “the free wine I’m getting tonight and in the
‘In Pour taste’ Brings Immersive Wine Experience to Las Vegas
For the first time, the Vegas show became an integral part of the event itself. It has a unique feature that will get everyone talking and taking out their phones to take great selfies.
“There is an immersive element to the Lighthouse Artspace space where every country from every wine we pour and its vineyards are projected onto the walls while they pour in front of you,” they explained.
“So it’s really exciting to be able to get through France, Spain and Italy to California without experiencing jet lag or going through TSA.”
