-Ambarazadas and puerperas (up to 10 days postparto)
-Neños from 6 to 24 months
-Pers between 2 and 64 years with risk factors
-65 years old
For its part, the dengue vaccine is intended for:
-Personal Health, Education and Security
-Mabernated people between 10 and 49 years
This initiative is part of the health policies promoted by the Ministry of Public Health, by Dr. Luis Medina Ruiz, with a preventive, accessible and territorial approach. From the health portfolio it works continuously to expand the vaccination coverage and anticipate the epidemiological challenges facing the population.
The official recalled that this is an opportunity for those who could not attend during the week. “It is very important that all those who, for work or study reasons attend, could not be vaccinated before,” he said. Among the doses available, he mentioned the second dose against dengue, the anti -plan vaccine for people over 65, pregnant women and those who have base diseases, in addition to children from 6 to 24 months. He also indicated that pregnant women between 32 and 36 weeks can receive the respiratory syncitial virus vaccine. “This vaccine protects newborns from suffering a serious illness,” he explained.
