How to See Who Your Instagram Stalkers Are

1. Check for Suspicious Followers

Start by reviewing your follower list. We recommend removing suspicious accounts that aren’t friends or family.

Also, pay attention to accounts with no real profile photos, strange usernames, and little to no account activity. To delete a user, open the Instagram app and tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner.

In the profile menu, select the number of followers at the top and find the unwanted account in the list. Then, select the delete option next to the username.

2. Watch for Unusual Interactions

Another way to identify a stalker is to observe their interaction patterns with your posts and account. A stalker often likes or comments on older posts that have been shared.

If you encounter such accounts, visit their profiles to see if they follow you. Posts won’t appear on other people’s timelines unless they are discreetly stalking your account.

3. Switch to a Business Account

Private Instagram accounts don’t offer access to account-related analytical data. Try switching your profile to a business account to identify who is stalking your account.

The process is simple: open your Instagram profile and select the three-line menu in the top right corner of the profile page. Then, open settings and privacy.
