Foreign Investors Shift to Net Buying in Indonesian Market
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Over the past week, September 15-19, 2025, foreign investors recorded net purchases amounting to Rp 3.03 trillion.This represents a reversal from the previous week, when net foreign sales reached Rp 6.59 trillion.
The return of foreign investment to the capital market has altered the composition of investors. Domestic investor participation decreased to 45% last week, down from 64% the previous week. Conversely, foreign investor participation increased to 55% from a previous 36% share.
Exchange data indicates several stocks were the focus of foreign accumulation. PT Amman Mineral International Tbk (AMMN) led the list with net purchases of Rp 1.82 trillion.
