Former Actor John Wayne Sace Arrested for Fatal Shooting of Friend in Pasig City

Former actor John Wayne Sace has been arrested in connection with the death of his friend, Lynell Eugenio, in Pasig City.

The Incident

According to a report by Emil Sumangil on Balitanghali, the shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Sagad. Initial investigations by the Pasig City Police indicate that Sace and Eugenio were engaged in a heated argument before the shooting.

Sace allegedly retrieved a .45 caliber pistol and shot Eugenio at close range, resulting in four gunshot wounds. The suspect then fled the scene with the weapon.

Arrest and Investigation

Pasig Police confirmed that Sace is now in custody. On Tuesday afternoon, he was transferred from a detention cell at the Pasig Police headquarters to the Eastern Police District SOCO for a paraffin test.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
