Justin Baldoni’s Agency Denies Pressure from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Justin Baldoni’s former agency, William Morris Endeavor (WME), has vehemently denied claims that they dropped him under pressure from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The agency’s statement follows a $250 million lawsuit filed by Baldoni against The New York Times, alleging defamation in their coverage of sexual harassment accusations made against him by Lively.
According to US Weekly, Baldoni’s lawsuit alleges that Lively and Reynolds pressured WME to drop him as a client at the 2023 Dеadpool &аmp; Wolverine premiere. It claims their goal was to “destroy Baldoni’s career and personal life.” The suit also contends that Lively marginalized Baldoni during the marketing of his own film, *”It Ends With Us,”* and prevented him from attending the film’s premiere until significant pressure was applied.
Baldoni’s lawsuit further alleges that Lively “stole the Film” and prevented him and his team from celebrating their work due to the “humiliating” conditions she imposed.
Blake Lively’s Response to the Lawsuit
In a statement to US Weekly, Lively’s lawyer refuted Baldoni’s claims, stating they “do not change anything about the claims advanced in Ms. Lively’s California Civil Rights Department Complaint, nor her federal complaint.” The lawyer emphasized that Lively’s focus has always been to pursue legal action against Wayfarer, Baldoni’s production company, and not against Baldoni himself.
The lawyer added, “We look forward to addressing each and every one of Wayfarer’s allegations in court.”
