Kaizer Chiefs Chase Big-Name Signings

Could this upcoming January transfer window see three high-profile arrivals at Naturena? The Glamour Boys are reportedly pursuing major talent to strengthen their squad and increase their chances of silverware.

Fiston Mayele –

Valued at €1.2 million (R22.5 million) by transfermarkt,

Fiston Mayele, the experienced marksman isn’t going to come cheap. He boasts an exemplary goal-scoring record, including an impressive four goals in four Caf Champions League games this season. His ability to find the back of the net is undeniable, scoring 26 goals in 52 matches overall for Pyramids FC – a stunning scoring ratio.

Feisal Salum

Feisal Salum, valued at roughly €100k, or R1.8 million, by transfermarkt, would likely command a significantly higher transfer fee. The classy 26-year-old scored 19 goals last season for Azam FC and already has double figures for the 2024-2025 campaign. With 37 caps for Tanzania, he’s a proven performer.

While his transfermarkt value is low, Chiefs will likely need to fork out north of R13 million if they want him on board. They’ll also need to budget for a base salary of approximately R220k per month.
