Kentucky Downs: early Statistics and Betting Angles
After the first three race dates of the seven scheduled for this year at the Franklin, Kentucky racecourse, we’re sharing exclusive statistics to complement the thorough information – including free forecasts – we provide annually to our Spanish-speaking equestrian audience.
On Thursday, August 28th, the first racing meeting took place. Horses that previously competed in different circuits immediately demonstrated their ability to overcome the challenging layout and secure victory. Some performed well in their debut, while others successfully transitioned from dirt to grass.
A total of 10 horses that previously raced at Saratoga have crossed the finish line in first place. So far, the New York circuit has produced the most winners, which is a significant “angle” to consider when betting. Ellis Park, another Kentucky racetrack, has nine winners in this count.
