Kim Se-jeong Considers Departure from Jellyfish Entertainment After 10 Years

After a decade with Jellyfish Entertainment, Kim Se-jeong is reportedly exploring options outside of her long-term agency. Discussions regarding a contract renewal are underway, but the singer and actress is also reportedly meeting with other agencies as her current contract nears its expiration.

On February 20, 2026, JTBC reported that Kim Se-jeong had begun discussions with Jellyfish Entertainment regarding a contract extension. However, she is also considering other opportunities and evaluating various proposals from different agencies Soompi.

Jellyfish Entertainment’s Response

Jellyfish Entertainment acknowledged the ongoing discussions, stating that they are currently in the process of contract renewal but have not yet reached a final decision. The agency confirmed that they will continue to fulfill their management duties for Kim Se-jeong until the end of her current contract Soompi.
