Latvian Mobile Operators Offer Free Communications to Middle East Amidst Regional Instability

Latvian mobile operators LMT, Tele2, and Bite Latvija are providing free calls and text messages to customers located in several Middle Eastern countries, citing concerns over the escalating security situation in the region. The offers are intended to ensure individuals can maintain contact with family and friends during a period of uncertainty.

Affected Countries

The free communication services apply to customers in the following countries: the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
