Tallinn Music Week 2026 to Showcase Latvian Talent
Tallinn Music Week (TMW), the annual city festival celebrating music, arts, and ideas, will feature a strong contingent of Latvian artists in 2026. The festival, running from April 9th to April 12th, will highlight a diverse range of Latvian musical acts alongside performers from around the globe.
Latvian Artists at TMW 2026
Representing Latvia will be the association “the body of a swan” and electronic music artist Vultura. Psychedelic folk and rock group Alum Alu, known for their dynamic blend of traditional Latvian songs and high-energy rock ‘n’ roll [1], will also perform. Other Latvian musicians scheduled to appear include indie rock groups Pacific K and Nesen, ambient hyperpop project Ofae, dream pop project Lunt, jazz saxophonist Tomas Rudzinskis’s ABYSS project, noise musician R3YWYA, musician and songwriter Shipsea, and experimental electronics artist EIII.
TMW: A City-Wide Celebration
Since its inception in 2009, Tallinn Music Week has evolved from a music industry conference into a comprehensive city festival encompassing arts, design, technology, and societal issues [3]. The festival features showcases by approximately 250 artists across multiple venues in Tallinn, alongside the Creative Impact conference at Tallinn Creative Hub.
Baltic Music Spotlight
The “Cindy & Kate” platform will host a special Baltic music evening on April 9th at the “Uus Laine” club, further emphasizing the regional focus within the festival. Contemporary music festival “Skaņu Mežs” will also participate in the festival program as curators, and speakers.
Estonian Artists Join the Lineup
Alongside the Latvian performers, Tallinn Music Week will showcase 80 Estonian artists, including mariin k., Alonette, Kuula Hetke, Intrepid, Ruut (who performed at Glastonbury in 2024), and SADU.
Venue Spotlight: Telliskivi Creative City
The D3 nightclub in Telliskivi Creative City will be a key venue, focusing on hip-hop, electronic, and pop music. Alum Alu is scheduled to perform at Telliskivi Creative City on April 11, 2026 [2].
Tallinn Music Week 2026 promises a vibrant showcase of emerging talent and creative innovation from across Europe, with a particularly strong representation from Latvia.
