Malaysian Police Personnel Suspended Amid Cryptocurrency Theft Investigation

Kuala Lumpur – Twelve Malaysian police personnel have been temporarily suspended from active duty following allegations of involvement in the theft of cryptocurrency belonging to Chinese nationals. The suspensions are part of an ongoing investigation into the incident, which occurred in Kajang earlier this month.

Investigation Underway

Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail, confirmed the temporary suspensions, stating that the officers have been assigned to non-operational duties to ensure the integrity of the investigation.
